The Nigeria I used to know

Nigeria- a country rich in culture, tradition and tourism. Nigeria, my dear Nigeria, used to be the giant of Africa.The Nigeria I used to know was far better than what we have now. While growing up, this admirable country of ours was number one in Africa, even better than the now self-acclaimed giant of Africa – South Africa. What could have gone wrong?
 The electricity supply was good, we had better roads than we do now, there was adequate water supply, free education for those willing to study, leading exporter of various goods and natural resources. What could have gone wrong?
 Epileptic power supply, bad-killer roads, inadequate and poor water supply, leading importer with little or no export at all, increased crime rate and leading terrorist Nation (the appropriate motto of the new Nigeria). What could have gone wrong?
