Let's Talk of Nose Picking in Public

Nose picking as we all know is one of the worst (from my view the worst) habits common amongst people of this generation; Male, Female, Young and Old all find pleasure in engaging in this act in public. I for one feel disgusted at the horrible sight and am sure a whole lot of people are with me on this. I have on several occasions seen even the self acclaimed “classy” people picking their nose in public, most of which becomes so carried-away with the act that it becomes an integral part of their lives. I was at a wedding recently and the unimaginable happened, the bride kept picking her nose throughout the whole event and even after her mum came to whisper something into her ear (which am sure is to stop what she was doing), she still continued moments after that. I didn't need a priest to tell me she was an addict, it was so glaring.

What exactly could be the cause of this terrible habit? What are your own views about nose picking and nose picker? How can this terrible habit be curbed?
