The season of love is just some few
days away. Love-birds all over the world are gearing up for the big day. A lot
of young even old ones are busy with all sort of preparation ranging from
getting what to wear, buying gifts, where to go and some are even cracking
their heads on who to spend it with (The
Single Polygamist). Everyone just
want to have a fun-filled valentine and to be honest, there is nothing bad in
that. In a bid to compete or contest with friends and probably neighbors or
schoolmates, a lot of people succumb to peer pressure and make the worst
mistakes of the year in a day that is meant to be one of the best moment of the
year.
I know you’ll be wondering exactly
where I am heading to with this …..Relax, am getting there. *winks*
What I meant by mistake can be
summarized under three main sub heading; Whom, How and Where.
Whom: All of my friends already have someone they are going out with on Val, I
have no girlfriend or boyfriend (am not gay oo), I feel automatically depressed
and left out. When people find themselves in this kind of situation, they end
up going out with the wrong person because they just don’t want to feel left
out. It’s a day that is meant to be spent with any of your loved one, not
necessarily someone you are dating or going out with, Ladies! Shey you have
heard? You really don’t want to wake up the next morning and regret how you
spent your Val and whom you spent it with, you really going to feel bad about
that. So if you’ve got no bf or gf, just hang out with friends or family, it
will be worth it.
How: In a bid to contest with friends, couples tend to make a lot of mistakes
when it comes to spending on that special day. You have no one to impress not
even your partner, if a kobo is what you have –let him/her knows instead of
borrowing and running in debt just because you want to be in line with some
rubbish Val rule. It’s not compulsory you buy a cake, make a big bowl of EBA
for your man that day and he will appreciate it, and Mister, you can go to your
backyard and cut some green leaves, you don’t have to borrow to buy your girl a
big box of Rose flower-she will still eventually throw it away.
Where: You really don’t have to go to the beach or a swimming pool if you can’t
afford it, get a big bowl of water, you and your partner can just put your feet
in it and enjoy the moment has it comes….

why are insulting girls now.....good right up tho
