This is something that has eaten deep into the fibre of every being in this world. We all hurt one another, father hurts the son, son hurts the mother, husband hurts the wife and it goes on and on. The world is full of hurt, some don't deem it fit to heal the hurt,but keep on hurting so far it's not it's not their problem. Finally, those who they least expected to hurt them will end up being the ones to nourish their lives with the hurt. Then, they finally run back to those who they have tried to mar their existence, and these people end up being their savior.
This can be seen in a guy's ordeal with a particular student of his. Anastasia met Antoinne after he taught her class Math 101 for the first time
She fell for him instantly, to her it was love at first sight and she wished the love could be reciprocated. Antoinne on the other hand was explaining an explaining an exercise on Algebra when he sighted the light-brown skinned beauty on the front row in his class. He decided to tell her his mind after the class, he told her bluntly that he wanted her. She declined the offer at first,but he coaxed her into accepting.
The first three months of their relationship turned out well. She was on top of the world, but they both agreed to keep it on a low key. Apart from that, they both knew dating a lecturer means trouble.Despite her mother's warnings, she turned on deaf ears. She knew it was inappropriate but the flaming desire in her for him couldn't be quenched. She was too committed to the relationship that it was affecting her studies. Antoinne tried advising her but she refused to change her ways. Her CGPA fell like a grain of rice pouring out of a sieve.
In his classes, she couldn't concentrate because everything in her head was just him. Unknown to her, Antoinne was planning on getting back with his ex lover, whom currently had been pleading profusely for reconciliation.
He was perplexed, not wanting to put an end to his relationship with Anastasia, but at the same time, he wanted to get back with Aaliyah. Antoinne decided to device a method to deal with both of them. The countdown started the next day,he refused to pick Aaliyah's calls, he didn't acknowledge her text message. He did all manner of annoying things to get her frustrated and leave him for good. At first,Anastasia didn't budge, she concluded he was under stress until a classmate of hers (who found out about her relationship with him, and swore not to say a thing), told her point blank that all he wanted was just to fool around, nothing more. Although, he adviced her that there might be hope for their relationship to last long, but he really doubted it.
Luciano pleaded with her never to let Antoinne know they conversed about their relationship, he didn't want to engage in a World War 3 with a lecturer in the name of his relationship with a student. In secret, Antoinne started making plans with Aaliyah to take their redefined love to the next level. Though, he tried shielding Anastasia away from Aaliyah's wrath, he knew what the latter could do to the former.
Aaliyah paid a visit to her husband-to-be in his office, though he felt uncomfortable, he consoled himself that every thing was going to turn out well. Luciano hinted Anastasia that an August visitor was in her man's house. It didn't matter to her and apart from that, she didn't want anyone noticing her in his office. She decided to take some notes to his office under the pretence that it was an official matter. She knocked, and opened the door to find the two lovers cuddling up under the swift moving ceiling fan. The notes in her were on thr floor, with her eyes fixated on both. As she turned back to leave the office, Aaliyah called her back. Antoinne stood up to rectify the situation, but before he could do anything, she bolted the door making sure Anastasia was inside.To his utter dismay, she advised her little co-rival to forget about him and move on. Aaliyah managed to utter her approval. She became more studious and avoided Antoinne ad much as she could. He decided not to approach her either, his engagement was already fixed and he didn't want to get into any further trouble. Their marriage was awesome till Aaliyah became a nightmare. She made his life a living hell, nagged, committed adultery and did all sorts of unbearable things.
The last straw that broke the camel's back was the day she got him shot by her lover. They fled from the house like hungry lions before they were caught. Antoinne managed to crawl out of the house and was rescued by the gateman and Anastasia! She was in the neighborhood so she thought she'd come pay him a visit and invite him to her wedding. After some few days, his wife and her lover were arrested. At the hospital, he apologised to Anastasia to the point that he sobbed. She brushed off the apology and told him his ordeal with her led to her own success. She nudged him to forgive his wife, Antoinne knew this was going to be difficult. He wished she could just rot in the cell. Everything now dawned to him that we all make mistakes and we need other people to help us. He never imagined himself to be rescued by someone he had hurt so deeply. He finally prayed for forgiveness from the Almighty and for Anastasia.
